The Secretariat of DUA has been transferred from Ghana to Tanzania under CHADEMA after its party leader Mr. Freeman Mbowe had been elected the Secretary General.
The party leaders meeting that was held in Accra, Ghana from 4 to 6 August, 2006 also elected the party leader of NPP of Ghana Mr. Peter Mac Manu to be DUA Chairman.
